Walk with Us
A Journey Sustained by People
For more than forty years, our life and vocation have been sustained by people and churches who have chosen to walk with us.
Some have been with us since the early years, when we were still traveling across Brazil on the MILAD bus. Others joined us during the many seasons that followed: pastoral ministry, teaching, mentoring people in their calling, mission leadership, travel, welcoming people who had been forcibly displaced, and caring for the land.
We do not receive a salary from Abuna or from a church. Our personal support comes from the regular and occasional contributions of this community of friends and partners.
Their generosity gives us the freedom to remain available—to write, teach, mentor, build relationships, travel when necessary, and serve wherever our vocation finds a concrete way to respond.
There Is a Place Beside Us
Everything we publish on Teleiós is freely available. You do not need to contribute financially in order to read our writing, follow what we publish here, or take part in the conversations that grow from it.
But if this journey resonates with you, there are different ways to walk with us:
• read and share what we write;
• join the conversation and bring your own questions;
• pray for our family, vocation, and service;
• connect us with people and communities;
• contribute to our personal support, either regularly or occasionally.
A financial contribution does not purchase content or access. It helps sustain the freedom and time that allow us to remain available to write, teach, meet people, and serve.

We receive every expression of trust with gratitude and responsibility.

Abuna is an organization with its own mission, projects, team, and institutional needs.
Contributions made through this page are not donations to Abuna projects. They are intended for the personal and vocational support of José and Val.
